Carla comes with 20 years multi-class commercial underwriting experience across the African Continent. She manages the group binders and outsource relationships with key Insurers, which extends to and includes, but is not limited to underwriting, administration, and claims for certain syndicates at Lloyds of London and various A-Rated Local Insurers.
Carla takes care of industry relationships and assumes the role of Key Individual, working closely with underwriters, brokers, risk, and claims managers. She looks for opportunities to create unique product solutions and will strike and maintain a balance between attracting and retaining customers through quality products, competitive and sustainable insurance premiums, and with the support of her team, ensures service is always the primary objective.
