The firm operates under the leadership of its Chief Executive Officer, Arvin Appanah. The latter holds a wealth of competencies with more than 15 years experience in marine and non-marine reinsurance. Coming from an actuarial background, he has shared his innovative approach as a board member of several institutions, namely the Insurance Institute of Mauritius and Superfund, whereby he occupied the role of President. Arvin is resolutely results-driven and this has been a key factor in the growth of his career and the development of ARC. Beyond his role as Chief Executive Officer of ARC, Arvin participates actively in the broking department, bringing extensive structuring on complex risks.
